Our Saviour's Lutheran Church

April 22, 2005

Greetings! I as sit here and write this newsletter, I marvel at the beauty of God’s creation. The sun is shining, the sky is blue and all around me are the signs of new life. The Lord is wonderful.

I thought I would take a few moments and give an update on what is happening at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. We are still without a pastor, but are moving closer to finding one each day. We have some wonderful candidates and have faith that we will call one soon.

We were blessed with a volunteer interim Pastor in March. Pastor Roger Dahlin and his wife Beverly of Springfield, Virginia were truly a godsend. Pastor Dahlin led us through Holy Week and Easter and provided services for two more Sundays. While they were here Pastor Dahlin and his wife put on a three day spring break Vacation Bible School, had Holy week services, provided Bible Study and ministered to the congregation and community. Beverly used her skills as a special education teacher and volunteered here time at the Rocky Boy Elementary School and provided the congregation with her musical talents. We are truly grateful to the Lord for sending the Dahlin’s to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. We will always remember their stay with us and how wonderful it was to have them here at such a glorious time.

We are busy preparing for out 2005 Servant Groups. We will have six servant groups and 2 retreats this summer, beginning in June and ending in September. Our Saviour's Lutheran Church continues with its ministries of layettes, sewing club, giveaway store and helping the community in any way we can.

We thank you all for your support of our ministry and ask for your prayers as we continue to call a new pastor.

Your servant in Christ,

Tami Big Knife, Office Manager
Our Saviour's Lutheran Church
